About our Fire Company

Help and Service for All

Inspired by the need for organized help within the Fardale section of Mahwah, community residents formed the Fardale Fire Co in 1945.  In 1970 the Fardale Fire Co. was officially folded into the Mahwah Fire Department as, Mahwah Fire Dept. Co. 4.

Over the years, we have become one of the most trusted and effective charitable foundations in the Fardale section of town, working hard to improve the lives of those in need. Here you can learn more about who we are and what we do.

Station 4 is home to Battalion 4, Ladder 4, Engine Tanker 425, and Antique Engine 475. Company No. 4 is well equipped to handle any emergency in their end of town as well as providing Truck Company and Tanker services town-wide and anywhere else we are requested.
